Okay...here's some more about that last post:
My name is Chris and I'm a (rather young) architect in Denver.
My Uncle Ted was working (again as a busboy) at the Denver Playboy Club. Usually he worked at the salad and buffet bars. After dinner he would bus tables for two of the bunnies and then have dinner with them.
One night, in October or November of 1974, someone made some noise about a bomb in the Playboy Club. So, my uncle escorted Roosevelt Greer (the L.A. Rams tackle and later needlpoint artist) and six cute bunnies down to the main floor on the elevator. He got his photo taken for the newspaper. (There was no bomb).
Does anyone have this photo? I've tried the Denver Post, the Rocky Mountain News, and the Denver Public Library (albeit not an exhaustive search).
This photo is
1) Proof about how cool my uncle was
2) Proof that someone with (approximately) the same genetic material as me can be surrounded by beautiful women...yes, even in Denver. That inspires hope. (it's 62% male here in my demographic). |
