How do I register to use these forums?

If you look at the top right of the page, you will see the 'Register' link.

Or you can click this link ---> I want to Register now!

Click on that to register. You will need to accept the terms of use first, but that's just another quick mouse click.

At the registration screen, fill in the username of your choice, a password of your choosing (type it again to confirm it) and a valid email address.

You can ingnore all the rest of the settings and fields for now. Go to the bottom of the page and click on 'Submit'.

A confirmation email (including, for reference, your username and password) is then sent to the email address you supplied when registering. You must click on the link in this email to activate your account (this is to prevent abuse of these boards by spammers, and is common to nearly all online forums).

Once you have activated your account and logged in, you are free to post whenever and how often you want. You can also change your username, email and password once registered. To do so, and make other changes, look for the 'Profile' link at the top of the page.
