Hi
I would just like to thank Alan and Keelerphoto for the information about the Bunny costume that was sold on eBay. It was interesting to see how much it made. Aaaargh I wish I had kept mine now!!
Because of the gaming laws in the U.K in 1970/1 we had to cover up when we were dealing. If you have a look at my album you can see what our costume looked like. Does anyone know what date the dealers costume was changed in the UK?
I think the change over might of happened in my time or shortly before I became a Croupier Bunny.
Its so strange how one remembers things from those years when you start writing things down.
Love,

I have all my training manuals plus all the different key cards ever made.....I have it all ...tails...collar..cuffs bowties...all my different cufflinks...silver gold black...I was a bunny until our club closed....I only have my Christmas ears ..wish I would have kept my velvet one...I think I have so much because I traveled so many times...I have black ..my silver...and a blue silky print...disco days....
I would think a costume would be easy to come by ....especially since we all knew the clubs would be closing..
My question ...how would you display where it would look attractive?
It would be fun to put my black one in a display case....I still have my embroidered customer service and silver anniversary sash....can you tell I am packing to move? I haven't looked at this stuff in years....Do you guys still have your employment key...I almost forgot...I have one of the original keys to the sunset club...now I do treasure that!...a customer gave it to me...
I also have the marble window to the Century city club..they gave it to me when we closed the club...I have kept it all these years....
Thanks for the walk down memory lane |

Thanks for a wonderful post, I really enjoyed reading it!
But I'm curious about the silver and gold cufflinks... When were they used? I've only ever seen bunnies on pictures wear the black ones.

As I pack up this house I am amazed at all the stuff I have kept!
The black and white cuff links were club new bunny issue...silver I believe was 10 year...the gold ones I am not sure...seems like those might have been the bunny of the year or some other award...I remember receiving my gold cross pen & pencil set for five years....2 years was a gold filled ankle bracelet...the playboy enterprise was very generous with us ....we received all kinds of prizes working in the gift shop .....clothes cookware luggage..cutlery dishes glassware...my bike that I have to this day came from sales...I have the top of the line stereo system ...all the pieces from way back when.... ...I was looking at my payroll stubs...amazing...we were treated like princesses....great memories!...Someday I will take the time to scan all of our pics...
PS...to Alan...the gentleman who posted the piture of Dorothy Stratton and all of us in the gift shop...I have a copy of that picture and a letter from him.....I remembered him also...
I kept letters from Yoshi Shimizu...the owner of the Japanese clubs...he was so kind to all of us....the LA girls helped him open his clubs.....
Tons of memorabilia.....
I found my original pink employee card...I wonder if that would get us into the new club in Vegas |
