|
|
I visit London the past month and I visit the ex Playboy Club Casino at Park Lane and Curzon Street. I only could see the Club in a picture not clear in a VIP magazine . The other day in a browser picture I could see that the entrance ( as I see when I visited the building ) is for Curzon Street instead the address are 45 Park Lane . Unfortunately all my photos from London are lost for a cd error when I download the pictures from my camera. Dorchester group in rebuilding for a new hotel. Could be great an association with PEI from a Playboy Hotel theme ?
Somebody could told me the number of curzon street and if it possible an old photo to the entrance . Thank you

Don't know if this helps but it's something :D
This is an old photo of the entrance:

And here is the entrance as it looks today according to Google maps:

Hi
If you are interested I can tell you the entrance which the Bunnies used to the club was in Stanhope Garders.
Bunny Pepper has put a photo of the members entrance in Curzon st in her album.

Thank you very much Terri . Is a pleasure that you respond to me .I received Victor' Lownes mail on a commentary that I did of his book " the day the bunny died " .Was a great pleasure for me . I hope information about the Clubs from you and everybody that like to remember the bunny years. Unfortunately I couldn't visit the London Club in the best moment. I was in London Park Lane and Curzon street in January 2009 , but in 1981 I visit the Playboy Clubs from New York , Chicago and Los Angeles. Best

I was in London this past weekend and just thought I'd share this pic I took of 45 Park Lane...
The scaffolding is probably due to the building being turned into a hotel, I hope they don't change it too much.
(The gold entrance that can be seen on Google earth has been removed)
It was actually quite surreal to see the building for real since it has changed so little since the club was there. :)

Thank you very much Bunny Fan for this photo . I was in London some month ago and the construction are not there. Dorchester group is building a theme hotel . Would be a great idea a Playboy Theme hotel but Playboy is lost his time in special edition magazines and a stupid TV channel. |

I went back to London the other day and took another pic of the Playboy club... the constructions are apparently well on the way. I hope they wont change the outside too much, the building is historic.
