After the Hutch input

Hello Ladies,

Have any of you become members of the "After the Hutch" club? I am considering joining (it is $40 per year) but I am unsure of the benefits and whether or not it would be something worthwhile. Any comments would be welcome. Thanks.

Hi Debbie, No I haven't joined yet. First, I can't afford to fly to Vegas for the reunion. (We had a reunion for our own club, back in 1991) and I really don't know what else after the hutch, is offering. . Do you? I know a lot of people are on this web site and then a lot of people are on "after the hutch"Chere is very nice, regarding the site, but Unless you are going to the reunion in Vegas, I don't see a reason to join. You can still check out the site, from time to time, from here. What do you think?

Hi Debbie, I worked at the Atlantic City Casino 1980-1982. I have found old friends on this site....thanks to Alan.

Did you know Kym Donaldson? She worked at the Cincinnati club and then at the Atlantic Club.

I am also in a condo.....a small one.....a hutch!!

Did you post your pictures yet? Please do so, Alan will help you. This is a great site. Not only have I come back into contact with old friends, but I have made new ones, as well.

Arrggh! The "After The Hutch" website isn't working at the moment. How frustrating for Chere and the rest of us who are working on the 2006 Reunion in Las Vegas. Confirming that it IS still on for August 28th (yes, that's a Monday). I'm arriving 8/27. Email me if you have any questions, and I'll either answer them or get you in touch with Chere, or you can email her at chererae@charter.net. Can you imagine how annoying it is when your ISP bombs out on you?

Also, FYI, Stardust reservations line is (800) 634-6757. There is a really great room rate for our group - $45.00 per night, plus tax. If you thought you were paying more, then talk to them which you check in so they can adjust your bill. This is the last Reunion we'll have at the Stardust, as the hotel going to be demolished to make way for a "bigger and better" hotel/casino.

As Bunnies, we've overcome "obstacles" considerably greater than this irritating glitch with the ISP. Together, we can make good things happen.

The morning after the Reunion dinner, we'll be meeting to decide on an After The Hutch Board. Why is this important and why do you want to be a member of ATH, Inc? Because the members get the vote. And the votes determine WHERE the reunions will be, and what CHARITY will benefit from the attendance. The members receive a newletter letting them know what's going on, who is doing what, and other newsy type information, including memorializing those of us who have passed on. Be a part of the organization and have a voice. We all need YOU!
