Actually Sandy, and please correct me if I'm wrong, I seem to remember now that $4.00 was deducted from every paycheck to pay for our costume. So basically it really was our costume if we paid for it don't you think?

I have one of our Baseball shirts that was issued to the Bunnies in Phoenix when we played a promotion against the guys in the service. They were orange with the black rabbit on the front... We were not allowed to take ANYTHING pertaining to the club outside of it, so I don't know how I managed to still have it( hmmmmm surely I didn't do that on purpose????) However, I still have my name badge, an ashtray,my cuff links, that shirt and that's about it. If only we had known how much we would value those things later in life...we would all have a ton of pictures I'm sure...AND many more items than what we left there with. Oh well, we do have the memories. _________________ Bunny Donna Photo Album |

Hello All,
New to this site!
I worked in Atlanta and Great Gorge - 1973 & 1974.
I think I have my bowtie and cufflinks in a box somewhere. I know I have an ashtray and a pewter mug packed away.
I would have loved to have taken my ears when I "retired" but I was afraid I'd get caught and I've always been a big chicken! |

Welcome Laurie .
I know the feeling about being a 'big chicken'! I would have loved having my very own costume but was too afraid to try getting it past the door checker. Ah well, such is life.

Hi Laurie,
Welcome to the site. We love to see new people join in, with postings. And Alan, the webmaster, is the best. He will help you out, with anything. Just ask.
Love,

Thanks for the warm welcome Nicole, Sandy & Alan!!
Alan, I'm sure I'll be asking for your help! I have all my old Playboy mementos and pictures packed away in a trunk that has been on a shelf in my garage for many years. When I get my hands on the pictures I'll need some help uploading them here. (My computer literacy so far has been confined to word docs!)
This site has certainly unleashed a lot of buried memories! |

You are welcome Laurie.
I look forward to receiving your photos. No rush though.
I don't allow direct photo uploading to the site (for security reasons and to prevent misuse by non-Bunnies), so all photos have to be scanned and then emailed to me.
I posted a thread about scanning photos in the 'Website Comments and Announcements' forum, which may be of help:
How to contribute your photos to the site
Scanning isn't hard, but like most things, it's confusing the first few times.
If you have any questions Laurie or need any further help, just ask. _________________ Alan, Webmaster

Hi,
I have a complete genuine baby blue costume in wonderful condition from the N.Y. club, marked "Ann" on the inside and a unfinished green costume... unfortunately just the bodice. Then about 40 V.I.P. Magazines in different conditions.
Best regards,
Jack |
